Each row under a trait is one breakpoint and the average placement of the boards that were sitting on it. The pattern worth noticing: the highest breakpoint is not reliably the best one. Going from four units to six costs you two board slots, and if those slots go to 1-costs that do nothing, the trait bonus has to beat two real units to be worth it. Often it doesn’t.
Sample size cuts the other way too. The top breakpoint of a trait is usually reached with an emblem by someone already winning, so a tiny, flattering sample. Trust a breakpoint with a hundred thousand games; treat one with three hundred as an anecdote.
Emblems are the shortcut past all of this — a Spatula item that hands a trait to a unit that doesn’t have it, turning a 4-unit breakpoint into a 3-unit one. Every emblem and its recipe is on the items page — filter it to Emblems.
Where these numbers come from. Placements, win rates and pick rates are aggregated from ranked Teamfight Tactics games — the same dataset the NoxuTFT desktop app reads, refreshed every six hours. Champion costs, traits, item recipes and trait breakpoints are game data from Riot. Tier letters are relative to this set: S is the top 10% by average placement, not an absolute threshold, and champions are ranked inside their cost bracket because a 5-cost's average only looks good for having been reached from a winning position.
